Educite Virtual Library’s primary purpose is to reinforce learning and acquisition of legal knowledge by providing: a more solid basis for legal education and research and to enhance the quality of life by drawing on digitally available content (Books, Judgments, Case Law and Legislations) using ICT-based tools. As a Virtual Library, we provide remote (on-line) access to a variety of local and foreign legal content ( Judgments, Legislations, Learning Materials, Books, Gazettes, Hansards, Case Law and many more services traditionally offered by libraries and other information centers. Educite Virtual Library thus combines materials in electronic format with an electronic network which ensures access to and delivery of those materials in real-time. To become an effective research and educational tool in the legal profession, we respond to the needs of and provide affordable access for prospective users i.e. Judges, Advocates, Students, Researchers and Academics in Uganda and beyond. Our emphasis is on building up collections that are readily available to the public and that are accessible through on the basis of affordable subscription tariffs.
